Mr.Homer George Mathew(M.com, PGDFT)
Mr. Homer George Mathew, M.Com., PGDFT, is a post graduate and post
graduate Diploma from IIFT, New Delhi. He superannuated in March 2021
as Assistant Commissioner, GST. Prior to this he worked as Specified Officer
of Mundra Port & SEZ, Appraiser and Superintendent at Mundra, Kandla
and Mumbai Customs. He had worked as Departmental Representative for
Department of Customs & Central Excise in CESTAT.

He is having over 36 years of rich experience in the field of Indirect Taxation [specialization in matters related to Customs/Special Economic Zone (SEZ)/ Free Trade Warehousing Zone (FTWZ)] Have rich experience in all areas of indirect tax Audit , Investigation, Due Diligence, Regulatory Aspect.
On joining the Board, he will be responsible for providing services towards legal aspect, representing the client before the authorities and tribunal, appeals. regulatory audit of GST, Customs, SEZ & Foreign Trade Policy. Imparting legal advice in the matter of GST, Customs SEZ & Foreign Trade Policy, Setting up of MOOWR Unit, AEO and DPD.
Liaising with authorities of GST, Customs, SEZ and DGFT for the company’s interest will an added profile.

Mr.Gervasis P Thomas(B.A, L.L.B)
Mr. Gervasis P Thomas, B.A., L.L.B., registered to practice law with the Bar Council. He superannuated during 2021 as Assistant Commissioner of Vigilance Wing of Central Board of Indirect Taxes. Prior to this he was Departmental Representative in CESTAT for 3 years and fought many cases in the court from Government side. He was also Assistant Commissioner of GST, Jodhpur for a brief period. He also served as Appraiser in SEZ for 5 years. Prior to that he was served as Police Inspector in CBI, for 9 years. He had also served as Senior Intelligence Officer in DRI, Ahmedabad.

Rohan Mathew( B.A, L.L.B)
Rohan Mathew, 32 yrs. of age, B.A., L.L.B from Nirma University and worked in various Law firms. He had practised in Gujarat High Court for 5 years and now joined this company as a consultant. He has wide experience of dealing with Customs, Excise, GST, FTP and SEZ before various authorities and also special experience of legal issues related with
supply chain management.

Has worked under various eminent lawyers of Ahmedabad and practised law in the High Court/CESTAT for 5 years. During the recent 4 years his engagement includes legal issues related to supply chain management and Customs.
The team will be further strengthened by joining of three highly experienced members, Shri Homer Mathew, Shri. Gervasis Thomas and Nagendra Trivedi, all of them retired as Assistant Commissioner of Customs & CGST. They have/will be joining the team after completion of mandatory cooling period required after retirement from the Government Service. They will add their expertise in the different areas Department of Revenue viz; Customs, SEZ, CGST, CBI, DRI and CESTAT. The superannuated officers held responsible positions as Deputy/Assistant Commissioner. Their experience of working in Customs, SEZ, CGST, Service-Tax, Central Excise, DRI, CBI, International Airport and Sea Port including various senior administrative capacities will be a boon to the trade. Through their cumulative 112 years of experience, the team can give better guidance and practical solution to the client to minimise the unwarranted litigation with Government Departments.
Their experience and liaison capacity provide additional edge to the firm’s profile. Two of them were Departmental Representative in CESTAT, Ahmedabad for many years.
